QPAC
The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) Concert Hall is the venue for Queensland Symphony Orchestra's Maestro, Classics, Music on Sundays, and some education concerts.
Designed for orchestral performances, the 1800 seat QPAC Concert Hall is one of Australia's most spectacular concert venues, and features raked seating throughout the hall. Towering above the stage, the magnificent Klais Grand Organ, with its impressive array of 6500 pipes, forms the central architectural focus of the space.
Location
Situated on the corner of Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Brisbane, QPAC is also adjacent to South Bank Parklands and the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Walking
The venue is a 10-15 minute walk from Brisbane CBD, reached by crossing the river on the Goodwill Bridge (footbridge) or the Victoria Bridge.
Parking
Access to the Riverside car park and other Cultural Centre car parks is via Melbourne Street, Stanley Place or Russell Street. Take advantage of the pre-paid car parking service, which offers guaranteed, safe and convenient parking at QPAC. The car park ticket will be issued with your concert tickets, ready for use on the night. This facility is limited per performance, so arrange your car parking early through qtix 136 246 or online at www.qtix.com.au.
Patrons with mobility difficulties
For the convenience of patrons who have difficulty walking, a specific set down area will be open in the QPAC basement 90 minutes prior to performances in the QPAC Concert Hall and Lyric Theatre. The set down area has easy access to Concert Hall and Lyric Theatre lifts.
Entry to the basement set down area is from the QPAC tunnel entrance at Grey Street. Drivers will be assisted through the boom gate to the basement level. After dropping off their passenger/s, drivers will then proceed up the ramp to Little Stanley Street for easy access to the Cultural Centre car parks.
The basement set down area will also be open for one hour after performances, with entry again from Grey Street.
This is a medium term solution that has been put into place whilst QPAC addresses the longer term access needs of all patrons.
Kindly respect the needs of people with mobility difficulties and only use the set down area if dropping off patrons for the QPAC Concert Hall or Lyric Theatre who have difficulty walking. An alternative set down point is located in Grey Street just 50 metres from the QPAC ground floor foyer. Please refer to the map for more information.
Please be aware that the set down area has limited capacity and we recommend you allow sufficient time for possible delays.

South Brisbane train station is on Grey Street, centrally located between QPAC, the Convention Centre and Queensland Conservatorium. The train station is on the Beenleigh/Ferny Grove Line.
